Guidelines
for Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants
Applicants in Texas are potentially eligible for
incentive funding if they operate or plan to operate on-road heavy-duty
vehicles, non-road equipment, stationary engines, or if they otherwise
contribute to the state inventory of NOx emissions primarily in one or more of
the nonattainment areas or other affected counties within the state of Texas
depicted below:
Funding may be for the purchase or lease of new
equipment, replacement, repower, or retrofit or add-on of emission-reduction
technology, among other categories.
Funds for this incentive program are made
available for grants each year and vary depending on cash flow to the Texas
Emissions Reduction Plan Fund based on fees and surcharges established by the
Texas Legislature.

As of July 7, TCEQ is not accepting applications.
The next solicitation of Requests for Application (RFAs) is due to be released
in September or October.
