Award recipients will be announced during
ILTA's Annual International Operating
Conference the morning of Tuesday, June 12th.
ILTA is
pleased to announce our inaugural Safety Award Program in conjunction with
our 5th Annual OSHA Reportable Safety Survey.
Application
for the award is a simple, two-part process:
(1) Complete the
Part I - Terminal Member Safety Survey
of OSHA Form 300A TRIR data individually for each of your terminal
facilities;
(2) Complete the
Part II - Safety Award Application
questions regarding your safety program once for your collective terminal
businesses.
Program
highlights include the following:

The
program is open to all domestic ILTA Terminal members.

This is a
company award, recognizing overall safety excellence across all
terminal locations
-
The
"Excellence Award" will be presented to all terminal companies
that achieve a base level of safety performance.

The
prestigious "Platinum Award" will be presented to one large terminal
company ( >100 full time equivalent terminal employees) and one small
company (<100 FTEs) based on a combination of safety program
implementation and sustained safety performance.

Small
companies may be required to submit OSHA TRIR data from multiple years
in order to fully participate (unless required data has been submitted
in prior ILTA Safety Surveys).

Applications are due to ILTA no later than April 20th.

Formal
award presentations will be made during
ILTA's Annual Operating Conference on June 11-13 in Houston, Texas.
