The International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) is pleased to continue its Safety Survey and Recognition Program for 2011.  The survey solicits reportable incident rate data from each member facility.  All data that is submitted will remain confidential.  Participation is voluntary; however, ILTA strongly encourages all terminal members to respond, regardless of company size or incident rate.  Each participating company will receive a report of the survey results for use in benchmarking its safety performance against other terminal operators.  Increased participation among member companies will allow for the highest quality of reporting on the terminal industry’s overall safety performance record. Responses are due no later than March 1, 2011.

In addition, all survey participants are eligible for consideration in ILTA’s Fifth Annual Safety Recognition Program, which acknowledges those companies that demonstrate exemplary performance in protecting their employees from injury and illness while promoting employee safety and health.  Award recipients will be honored during ILTA’s 31^st Annual Operating Conference and Trade Show in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
