 This
fall conference will include a full day of topics focused on the most
important issues facing terminals in the Gulf Coast region. Jerry
Thompson, president and CEO of TEPPCO, will kick-off the conference as
keynote speaker. He will discuss the impact of high energy prices, the
outlook for renewable fuels and the demand for storage. Following his
presentation, the Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston will provide an
update on security and enforcement efforts in the region. Other
presentation topics include: API Recommended Practice 2350; Facility
Management Considerations Relating to Liquid Fuel Fires; and the Inner
Harbor Navigation Canal Lock Replacement in New Orleans and the
Mississippi River Gulf Outlet Closure. Tabletop exhibitors will be
available on Wednesday to provide information on the latest produces and

The second
day will include in-depth training on approaches to petroleum and ethanol
tank fire response. The training is geared toward facility operators,
incident managers and local fire responders.
