ILTA's 2017 Fall Training Program will feature two courses taught by Rob Ferry of The TGB Partnership: Advanced Tanks - Air Emissions and Air Emissions - Transfer Operations. Industry consultant Larry Springer will also lead a half-day workshop: Communications Strategies for Emergency Response.

Time will be provided during the training for attendees to visit with the exhibitors displaying their tank-related products and services. To register, download the Tabletop Exhibitor Application, and fax to ILTA at 703-875-2011. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This course, taught by Rob Ferry of The TGB Partnership, offers a detailed look into air emissions regulations relating to the design, construction and inspection of aboveground storage tanks. Attendees will learn how to estimate emissions from routeine and non-routine events, including floating roof landings and tank cleanings.

Attendees will review standard communication protocols, strategies for informing the public and communicating with the media, and effective responses for terminal managers and facility personnel following an incident.
