For nearly 40 years, Scott Buckner has worked as a health and safety expert for CITGO, developing comprehensive safety solutions for the midstream energy sector. Recently, Scott has been appointed as the new co-chair of ILTA’s Environmental Subcommittee. His extensive expertise and industry knowledge will be a valuable asset to the committee and its initiatives. 

Recently, we had the privilege of interviewing Scott to discuss his impact on the industry and his involvement with ILTA. 

With over 30 years of experience in terminal operations, Jimmy Wooten provides a wealth of knowledge and insight. Currently, Jimmy serves as Terminal Optimization & Safety Manager for Murphy Oil USA, Inc. and has recently been appointed as co-chair of ILTA’s Security Subcommittee.

Ronnie Odom is the newly named co-chair of ILTA’s Security Subcommittee. A retired law enforcement officer for over 25 years before joining Ergon Inc., Ronnie’s role is to ensure that asset and personnel security are top priorities for his company.   

We recently had the opportunity to interview Ronnie about his career and engagement with ILTA, learning how his professional life has inspired his personal life and vice versa. 

As a follow-up to our introduction of the newly added Government Affairs Subcommittee (GAS), we would like to highlight its work and the significant role it plays in advancing ILTA’s advocacy agenda. Jake Hinch, who co-chairs GAS, brings valuable experience from his time working in the United States Senate and at Marathon Petroleum, where he focuses on advocating for the bulk terminal industry. 

We had the opportunity to interview Jake and gain his insights on the importance of legislative and regulatory advocacy for ILTA and its members.
