MERPAC To Meet September 7-9 In Florida

The National Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee is scheduled to conduct a series of meetings September 7–9 in Dania Beach, Fla., to discuss issues relating to personnel in the U.S. Merchant Marine, including the training, qualifications, certification, documentation and fitness of mariners.  Open to the public, the meetings are set to begin at 9 a.m. EDT on all three days.

The sessions will be held at the STAR Center, 2 West Dixie Highway, Dania Beach, FL 33004; additional information can be found at www.star-center.com.Preregistration is required for in-person access to the meeting for those who do not serve on the committee or represent the Coast Guard.
