Benefits of ILTA Membership
Advocacy on Behalf of Our Members
ILTA represents the industry before congress and federal agencies on environmental matters, business practices, safety concerns and other issues.
Annual International Operating Conference and Trade Show
ILTA hosts an annual conference and trade show in Houston, Texas. More than 4,000 people attend each year from around the world. ILTA members receive reduced registration rates and pay lower exhibitor fees.
Training and Education
ILTA sponsors a variety of courses on a number of technical subjects.
ILTA’s comprehensive members only website is full of information and resources for the terminal industry. Additionally, a monthly newsletter is sent out to members on legislation and regulatory developments, ILTA activities and events, and industry news.
A safety survey, based on terminal member OSHA injury and illness data, is conducted each year. The companies with the best safety records receive recognition at the ILTA conference. ILTA's annual salary survey is the only one of its kind for the terminal industry. Member companies use the information to see how their compensation and benefits compare to industry averages.
Committees and Subcommittees
The Environmental, Health, Safety and Security committee meets two times a year. The operations council meets once a quarter. Subcommittees convene regularly via conference call, and working groups are often established to provide in-depth research on a range of topics.
In addition to the monthly newsletter, ILTA produces training manuals and terminal operations guidance documents.
2020 Membership Directory
The membership directory includes a comprehensive listing of all terminal and supplier members.
