Overview
The ILTA Safety Survey is a key component of our commitment to advancing safe and reliable terminal operations across the industry. Survey results help benchmark leading practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and determine recipients of the Safety Excellence Award.
ILTA 2026 Safety Survey: Part One
The 2026 Safety Survey: Part One is available for completion using the link below. Please review the accompanying Excel worksheet with all questions and rating criteria before beginning the online survey. You may keep it open as a reference while completing your responses.
Important: Your responses will not be saved until you click Submit after the final question. Please plan to complete the survey in one sitting.
Part Two: OSHA Statistics Survey (2025 Data)
In order to be considered for a 2026 Safety Excellence Award, terminal members are required to complete Part Two, an OSHA statistics survey based on 2025 data. This Excel-based submission aligns with U.S. OSHA Forms 300 and 300A.

Platinum Safety Award
The Platinum Safety Award recognizes terminal companies demonstrating exceptional commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Requirements
- Complete the Platinum Safety Award Application.
- Submit a proposal for the 2026 Terminal Operating Practices Symposium (TOPS).
- Complete both required safety surveys.
- There is no TRIR cutoff rate to apply.
