ILTA announces October dates for 2021 conference, trade show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, DC, October 27, 2020—The International Liquid Terminals Association today announced that it will hold its Annual Operating Conference and Trade Show on October 4-6, 2021 in Houston.

“In the longer term, we plan to return to our traditional May or June timeframe for the show,” said ILTA President Kathryn Clay. “But given the current environment, we decided that moving the event to later in the year would give our exhibitors, speakers, and attendees better certainty for their planning purposes.”

Across industries, event organizers have cancelled events that had been planned through the second quarter of 2021. Many of these groups have attributed their decisions to the expected timeline to develop and distribute a COVID-19 vaccine nationwide.

“We were fortunate to work with our partners at the George R. Brown Center and the Marriott Marquis in Houston, to secure these new dates. This decision positions us to provide the high-quality experience that our exhibitors, partners, and member companies have come to rely upon each year,” Clay added. “ILTA is looking forward to bringing our industry back together in person next year for three days of educational enrichment, networking and demonstrations of new goods and services.”
