Board Feature: Regina Zolnor, Vice President, MPLX Logistics and Storage Terminals

What inspired you to serve on the ILTA Board, and what do you see as its responsibility to members today?

I was inspired by the opportunity to work with member companies to advocate for our industry and the critical work we do. Also, I looked forward to making more meaningful connections, learning, and sharing best practices with industry peers.

How has ILTA helped you or your organization stay informed, connected, or prepared in a rapidly changing regulatory and operating environment?

Absolutely! ILTA has done a tremendous job advocating for issues that matter most for the terminals industry. The sharing of best practices, especially around safety, is vital as we continue to evolve as a business.

Where do you see the greatest opportunity for ILTA to make an impact for the liquid terminals industry over the next few years?

I believe ILTA can make the greatest impact by continuing to invest in member education, while serving as a strong advocate for the industry at the federal level.

What leadership principle or habit do you rely on most when navigating high-pressure or complex decisions?

Be clear on the strategic objectives and gather different perspectives/insights from various stakeholders so you can make informed, risk-based decisions.

What advice would you offer to members—especially emerging leaders—on how to get the most value from ILTA membership and engagement?

Just get involved! The industry is full of incredible professionals you can learn from.

Tell us about your experience at the ILTA Conference & Trade Show.

Having a one-stop shop where you can learn from the Conference and then meaningfully engage with so many suppliers is an incredible opportunity that can't be missed!
