Conference and Trade show Wrap up – call for proposals for 2023

Once again, the ILTA operating conference and trade show was a great success on many measures.  With nearly 3,600 people being a part of the event, we had over 450 full conference attendees and just shy of 1,600 trade show only guests, ILTA 2022 exceeded our 2021 metrics by about 500 more people.

With 36 unique sessions in four distinct tracks led by 57 thought leaders, the conference offered well-received content and engagement on the latest in the liquid terminals industry.  Several sessions had beyond capacity attendance!  And our keynote speakers General James Mattis, Captain Andy Meyers and Peter Zeihan drew great interest, sharing their perspectives on leadership, the Coast Guard and disunited nations.  And our plenary sessions on ESG commitments and the vital role of tank terminals in the energy transition provided the latest perspectives and solutions on these topics.

The trade show matched 2021 with the same number of exhibitors given only a seven month timespan.  Reported floor traffic was better than in 2021, and the exhibitors benefited from ILTA’s first ever best booth awards as voted by the Board members.

Our full business intelligence report from ILTA 2022 will be available in mid-July, but early indications note more positive impressions and feedback than from the 2021 experience.

Please save the date for the ILTA 2023 conference and trade show on May 22-24, 2023!  And it’s never too early to submit your ideas, abstracts, and proposals for the 2023 conference at proposals@ilta.org.  Our official proposal submission form will be published soon!
