The International Liquid Terminals Association presented its coveted Platinum Safety Award to Marathon Petroleum, LP and Motiva Enterprise LLC at its 39th Annual ILTA Operating Conference and Trade Show in Houston, Texas, today. In addition, Energy Transfer and Motiva won a Five-Year Safety Milestone Award for sustained excellence in terminal safety performance.

Kathryn Clay, president of the International Liquid Terminals Association, today lauded the U.S. Congress for extending authorization of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards program. The Senate unanimously approved the measure January 17 and the House unanimously approved it January 18:
