Part Two of the New 2023 ILTA Safety Survey to Launch in February

Christopher Meilink 0 500 Article rating: No rating

ILTA is excited to be moving forward with a newly improved safety survey and awards program.

A working group made up of a subset of our Health and Safety Committee, led by Chair Shannon Caldwell of Zenith Energy, has been reviewing and remodeling the program since March 2022.  The working group has delivered a product focused on leading indicators to complement the reliance on lagging indicators such as the total recordable incident rate (TRIR).

This Excel based survey is the second of two parts of data submission by terminal operator members for consideration for the ILTA Safety Excellence Award.  The survey is the 2023 Terminal Member Survey of 2022 OSHA Statistics and is based on U.S. OSHA Forms 300 and 300A.

At the time, I was working with Sunoco, and then transitioned to Sunoco’s logistics affiliate, which is how I specifically got into the liquid terminal part of the business.”
