Liquid Terminal Industry Thrived During COVID-19 Crisis

With President Biden having recently signed the historic $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill and the nation marking the one-year anniversary of COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic, Think Tank has taken a moment to reflect on what the virus has meant to the liquid terminal industry over the past year. 

ILTA to Host March EHSS Meeting

Following January’s successful iteration, ILTA will host its next Environment, Health & Safety and Security Committee Meeting March 29-April 1. The EHSS meetings serve as a platform for ILTA terminal members to share with and learn from their peers as well as hear from outside experts on matters of importance to the bulk liquid storage industry.  Over the four-day event, ILTA terminal members can engage with one another on some of the most pressing issues facing the sector under the new Biden administration and the ongoing pandemic.

ILTA Developing New Communications Toolkit to Help Members

ILTA is hard at work on a new communications toolkit that it hopes to unveil to its membership in the coming months.  The toolkit, designed to help the industry share the good news about the terminal industry and its importance to the economy, will feature many materials, including an industry PowerPoint, social media graphics, infographics, fact sheets and videos.

ILTA Seeks to Develop International Partnerships

Inks agreement with Indian Ports Association

In an effort to develop a more international presence and encourage global operational excellence, the International Liquid Terminals Association and the Indian Ports Association signed an agreement this week to “collaborate to share best practices on handling and management of liquid commodities to achieve the highest levels of operational excellence.”
