Conference and Trade show Wrap up – call for proposals for 2023

Once again, the ILTA operating conference and trade show was a great success on many measures.  With nearly 3,600 people being a part of the event, we had over 450 full conference attendees and just shy of 1,600 trade show only guests, ILTA 2022 exceeded our 2021 metrics by about 500 more people. 

ILTA Testifies on Gasoline Distribution Rule

EPA published its proposed amendments to regulations of gasoline distribution emissions on June 10 and provided a 90-day comment period. ILTA submitted a request for an extension which the agency has denied.

Biden Administration Looking to Require COVID-19 Vaccines for Private Sector

On September 9th, President Biden directed OSHA to issue a new Emergency Temporary Standard that would require many employers to provide paid time for employees to get and recover from getting vaccinated. The implementation of the “soft” vaccine mandates, i.e., requires their employees to either be fully vaccinated or get weekly COVID-19 testing, as well as issuing new Executive Orders requiring federal contractors to implement “hard” vaccine mandates.
