Make your plans now to attend the EHSS Committee Meetings September 21-22 at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Massachusetts. We are building on the momentum and the record attendance of our Spring EHSS Committee meetings in New Orleans in March.

The ILTA Board met on July 28-29 in Vail, Colorado to cover a full agenda including advocacy updates, a review of the performance of the June conference and trade show, and consideration of new strategies for membership recruitment.  

On March 28, 2022, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a proposed rule governing discharge of hazardous substances under the Clean Water Act.

During its July meeting, the ILTA Board of Directors received a briefing from David Cummins, the founder of the Blue-Sky Maritime Coalition. The coalition was founded just eighteen months ago and has already recruited nearly one hundred members and partners from across the maritime value chain.

ILTA and its member companies are dedicated to providing safe, sustainable, efficient, and reliable storage and logistics services for bulk liquids. In July 2021, our Board of Directors adopted our organization’s first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. One of these principles affirms our industry’s commitment to continually reviewing new technologies and procedures that might improve emissions monitoring and yield emissions reductions.
